Our slogan is "Alert: An engaged worker is a safe worker." Keeping employees engaged in their work allows them to work more safely and more efficiently as there is less "water cooler talk" happening within the organization. Employees who are alert, educated, and valued will be more productive and efficient thus creating fewer incidents and injury which in turn increases your bottom line. Engaged employees are less likely to be looking for work else where, less likely to talk negatively about your organization, and more likely to promote your services and product to friends and family outside of the organization which in turn increases your bottom line.

Vital Insight can offer subtle team building skills in the form of toolbox meetings or we can do more elaborate group work where employees can evaluate their current skills, develop new skills, and discuss current concerns or issues. Thinking Driver Training Materials

Driving is a common element of our work day, getting to and from work, as well as a large part of our personal lives. When you send your drivers out on the road at the beginning of the work day you want to arm them with the best defense as possible, driver safety! Create your own Thinking Drivers by teaching your drivers the skill, knowledge, and attitude it takes to prevent incident and injury while they are on the road. WHMIS & TDG Certifications

In order to comply with Part 29 of the Alberta Occupational Health & Safety Act, Regulation, and Code working with hazardous materials, workers must be trained. A trained person must attend a certification program to learn labeling of dangerous goods, how to read MSDS, storage, handling, and transportation of all substances the worker will come in contact with. Safety Orientations

When an employee starts working for an organization it is beneficial to hold a safety orientation on the first day of work. This is a legislated requirement as well as a COR requirement. The employee will receive training on company health & safety policies, conducting hazard assessments, review Safe work practices and job procedures, learn company rules, be familiarized with forms necessary to conduct vehicle or equipment inspections, vehicle, equipment or tool maintenance, repair and lock out procedures, learn how to report incidents and injuries, acquire skills to respond in an emergency, gain knowledge on worker and employer legislated responsibilities, and become familiar with other specialized programs offered by your company.
