Transportation of Dangerous Goods Training or TDG Training is required if the types of products that you handle (ship, transport, and receive) meets the definition for a dangerous good as outlined in the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Act and Regulations. Workers must be trained before handing dangerous goods, however if a worker is supervised by another worker who has TDG training, then the worker does not require training.
Part 6 of the TDG Regulations (TDGR) outlines the employer specific training requirements. TDG training is not transferrable from one employer to the next.
This online course will provide the necessary training to comply to legislation for dangerous goods that are transported by road.
Employer specific wallet certificates will be issued upon successful completion of the course. The employer and employee each must sign and keep a copy of the wallet certificate. The worker must carry their copy of the certificate on their person.
